I love the colors in these mittens, they reminded me of the beautiful beaches we visited last year in Australia. We were hiking in Noosa National Park and stopped at this sweet little resting spot. The view was so beautiful, it seems unreal. I did the painting from a plein air sketch done under this tree. The water was truly that bright and beautiful.
So if you think wool mittens and warm beaches don't go together - in my world, they do.
