Day 70 Delicate Arch

If you haven't visited Arches National Park in Utah ... you should. The rock formations are pretty amazing. I didn't get a chance to paint today so here's a sketch from my sketchbook. Along with daily painting I'm keeping a sketchbook to improve my rusty drawing skills. I sat on a rock, happily, as I'm not a fan of "exposure" to sketch this view. Getting here wasn't difficult, it's only 3 miles roundtrip, unless you have a fear of heights, gulp. Delicate arch is over 80 feet tall and quite amazing to see.
