Day 85 Lilacs on the Fence

Purple makes me happy. Always has. I declared it my favorite color as a child and have never wavered, I'm loyal like that. I've loved iris, hyacinth, lavender, african violets, lupine, kitten tails and of course lilacs. I have several huge lilac bushes but I'm not sure they will flower this year. They are resilient but also fickle - sometimes blooming, sometimes not. You could say they are on the fence. If you see me cutting a branch along your fence, you'll know why.
